Beckert's Park
Apartment building branding.
The Beckert family once owned and operated a brewery, a beer garden, a playground, a saloon, a creamery, and an amusement park on the subject site. Today, the neighborhood in Capitol Hill is a historic district characterized by its charming architecture and shops. It is comprised of mature singles and affluent families–with high education levels and professional ambition–who seek to live in a vibrant neighbourhood community that has access to great eateries, shops, and quality public schools.
Operating within this context, it is our recommendation that the brand’s communication and visual design should capture the historic concept of a pleasure garden: a communal garden that serves as a venue for entertainment, leisure, and socialization.
A mix of the green garden and fun. Energetic graphic pattern juxtaposing with the lushness of leaves. Visuals of happiness are woven through out the brand: ice-cream, laughter, fun activity at a pool. The logo is inspired by art deco type but taken further to be more modern and fun and pop.
